A retired senior executive with a global international firm, Mr. Monk serves as the MVA Vice President, and the Director of People Development.  He has a vast amount of international work experience coupled with his military expertise both on the officer and enlisted side.  He is a former Field Artillery officer,  Inspector General, and  

A retired senior executive with a global international firm, Mr. Monk serves as the MVA Vice President, and the Director of People Development.  He has a vast amount of international work experience coupled with his military expertise both on the officer and enlisted side.  He is a former Field Artillery officer,  Inspector General, and  personnel officer.  He understands the challenges of military transitioning and the expectations of the corporate workforce both nationally and internationally.  He holds an MS degree in Human Resources Management.

Mrs. Harris is a retired Army senior noncommissioned officer who brings a wealth of experience to the team.  She serves as the MVA Secretary.  Married to a fellow veteran, she knows the challenges of military family life.  After a 20-year military career in systems and technology, she worked for 19 years with General Dynamics at the Penta

Mrs. Harris is a retired Army senior noncommissioned officer who brings a wealth of experience to the team.  She serves as the MVA Secretary.  Married to a fellow veteran, she knows the challenges of military family life.  After a 20-year military career in systems and technology, she worked for 19 years with General Dynamics at the Pentagon.  She later worked for the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission.  She is an active member of her church, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion.
