My Veteran’s Arm© (MVA) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization dedicated to providing veterans and their families with veteran resources, information, training, and development services that contribute to improving the lives of those who served us best. Through various food donation channels, we also support veterans facing food insecurities.
MVA recognizes that veterans are not exempt from food insecurity. After walking into military commissaries for years and seeing pre-packaged bags of groceries destined for veterans in need, our board decided to make sponsorship of these bags a number one priority. This is our “Bags of Hope” program. Having grew up relying on government assistance, many of our board members understand the difficulties of this harsh reality.
By extending an arm of support to our veterans and their families, MVA believes that the mission for survival does not end once the uniform is no longer worn. Transitioning assistance is part of the mission set. Whether in-person training or virtual, our team is ready to assist.
Having walked in the shoes of our veteran community members, both military and dependent, MVA seeks to provide services that produce results. We work with other organizations to identify needs, maximize our resources, and leverage our expertise.
MVA is also equipped to help veterans tell their story and give life to their message of hope and resilience. There is no big "I" or little "U." Every story counts because every veteran matters! For years, the founder of MVA has interviewed many veterans and their families on her local television show.
Because of generous donations from men and women like you, MVA is making a difference in the lives of warriors who counted it not robbery to put service before self. By partnering with MVA, together, we are helping those who served us best!
